Becker Medical Library serves the Washington University School of Medicine, the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Collections are available to the nearly 10,000 faculty, staff and students at the Washington University Medical Center.
Becker Library contributes to the St. Louis community by promoting health and media literacy in partnership with local public schools and libraries, affiliated hospitals, and community-based health organizations. Becker Library staff educate the public to find credible health information at appropriate reading levels. They also consult to organizations seeking to build patient-friendly information services.
